I’m Nikhil Kancherla, a 10th-grade student with a strong interest in sports medicine, public health, and the science behind athletic performance and injury prevention. I created Beyond the Sidelines to explore the research behind the injuries and health challenges young athletes face and to make that research easier to understand. Through this site, I hope to learn more about sports medicine while sharing what I discover about injury prevention, recovery, performance, and the broader health issues affecting young athletes.
